
Nora J. Smith, 70, of Mansfield, died late Saturday evening, May 12, 2007, at Triumph Hospital. Born September 24, 1936, in Sandusky, she was the daughter of Carl and Arlene Harple Bertoch. Nora had worked seventeen years with Columbus Electric and her entire life being a sweet, funny, caring wife and mother. She loved to crochet afghans and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, David Linda Wilson of Pennsylvania, Michael Smith of Johnsville; two daughters, Penny Brian Cunningham, Carol Phillips David Pearce, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Jesse McCollister, Emily Phillips, Carl Wilson, Bobbi Hillman; three great-grandchildren, Kanyon McCollister, Justice Franks, Janesta Hillman; sister, Barbara Wilson of Virginia; and half brother, Skip Bertoch of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe F. Smith, daughter, Jean Marie Bertoch, parents, sister, Janet Gill and brother, James Bertoch.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
