

Norma L. Adams, 78, of Mansfield, passed away at Life Care Hospice on Friday, October 26, 2018 following a brief illness. Norma was born on May 31, 1940 in Somerset, Kentucky to Lloyd and Marie Hamilton.
Norma had pure unconditional love for her family and friends. She was an advocate for her children and always present either supporting, coaching, or practicing and was their number one cheerleader. Her true passion in life was taking care of her family. She was a true sports fan and greatly enjoyed watching basketball. She could be found cheering on the Boston Celtics and her Kentucky Wildcats. Norma was an avid reader, and even took her passion into her work life. She worked at bookstores and the Mansfield Library where she retired at the age of 70, but then returned to volunteer three years later. Crocheting, bingo, trips to the casino for slots, and playing Poker every Friday night with her son and his friends were Norma's past times.
Norma is survived by her children whom she loved dearly, Lee Ann (Ron) Weber, Jeff (Crystal) Adams, and Mona Stinson; grandchildren, Max and Spencer Weber, Morgan and Mason Adams, Brittany (Donny) Diehl, Micheal Stinson; and Bon and Matthew Gleisinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Adams; and sister, Lillian Irvine.
Family and friends may visit from 5:00-8:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Pastor Matthew Pond will officiate the funeral service on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lantz Cemetery.
