Norma J. Rizer, 78, of Mansfield, died early Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born November 11, 1930, in Perrysville, she was the daughter of Howard F. and Dorothy Atkinson Crawford. She was formerly employed at the Best Western. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered fondly for her Christmas cookies.
She is survived by three children, Karen James Davis of Lodi, CA, Tammy Keith Fryman and David Sue Crawford, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Lori Davis and Valerie Davis, both of Lodi, CA, Randy Crawford and Matthew Crawford, both of Mansfield; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Logan, Hunter and Arianna Davis; two brothers, Allen Crawford and Gary Crawford, both of Mansfield; a sister, Joan Flood of Mansfield; and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private graveside services will be observed in Greenlawn Cemetery. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Norma Rizer.
