It is with great honor that we celebrate the life of our Mother and Grandmother, Norma Elizabeth Horn Schuff. Her extreme faith in God took her through many health problems in her lifetime and on February 12, 2016, she went to be with her Lord and Savior.
Norma was born June 13, 1921, to Amos J. Horn and Gladys L. Daugherty Horn Stone. In April 1936, Norma became a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, formerly First EUB Church. She graduated from Mansfield Sr. High School in 1939 and went to nurses' training, where she met her late husband.
Norma loved knitting, crocheting, embroidery and cross-stitch which she continued to do "one handed" after her strokes. Her favorite pastime was working crossword and word find puzzles. Her greatest pride and joys were her five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She loved the time they spent together.
She is survived by daughters: Madolynn (Walter) Weber and Rosemary (John) Napier. She is also survived by grandchildren: Wally (Debby) Weber and their children, Brandon (Kayla), Justin (fiancée Paige), April and Tyler; Keith (Deb) Weber and their children, Kyle and Jared Weber and Emily and Drew Ickes; Ryan (Carla) Weber, and their children, Brittany (Gabriel) Angel, Sydney Weber and Brandon Wiles; Candi Weber; Paul (Elizabeth) Napier and their children, Leah and James; and many nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband: William A. Schuff; mother and father; and sister, Edna Kathryn Brucato.
