Norma Simmons

She worked 20 plus years at Therm-O-Disc. After retiring she always had to be doing something so she was a housekeeper for several people in Mansfield. She loved to give care packages to her kids and helped whoever she could. She cared for her sister Wanda until she passed away.

She is survived by three children, Gary (Skinny) Simmons of Lexington, Larry (Laurie) Simmons of Lexington and Brenda (Jim) Johnson of Marion, Indiana; five grandchildren, Scott, Steve and Sam Simmons and Allison and Catrina Holt; one sister, Evadene (Lewis) Walters; the father of her children, Gene Simmons; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Betty Shaffer, Wanda Beal, Janice Steele and Bill Beal.

There will be no calling hours or services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Primrose Retirement Center, Crestwood Care Nursing Home of Shelby and Hospice of North Central Ohio for the wonderful care that they gave mom.
