Norma E. Stevens, 75, of Mansfield, died early Friday morning, June 25, 2004 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 7, 1928 in Mansfield to Robert and Nellie Dillon Hammett. Norma was a life member of Caesarea Church and very involved in church activities. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and being with her loving family.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Cecile and Gary Smith, Lynette and Kevin Keiser, Lonette and Kevin Cross and Delbert 'Chip' Stevens, all of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Julie, Brittani, Nicholas, Nathan and Scott; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delbert Stevens in 1988, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, June 27 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Mike Workman. Burial will follow in Caesarea Cemetery. The family requests contributions be made to Caesarea Church.
