Norman Hildebrand

Norman E. Hildebrand, 76, of Ashland, Ohio, died Thursday, August 9, 2001 at his home. He was born May 5, 1925 in Mansfield Ohio to Lloyd R. and Ethel M. Seiler Hildebrand. He retired from General Motors after 33 years as a Tool and Die maker. Mr. Hildebrand was a member of Masonic Lodge Venus Lodge #152 F & AM, Baku Grotto, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites Valley of Canton, AmVets, and V.F.W. Post #9943. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two brothers, Raymond Hildebrand of Margate, Fla., and Richard Hildebrand of Mansfield; and two sisters, Norma Miller and Barbara Wigton both of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ethel Hildebrand, one sister, Anna Mae Stout, and one brother, William L. Hildebrand.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday, August 12 from 5-8 p.m. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Monday, August 13 at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Carl Cunfer. Military graveside services will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
