
Orlean "Lynn" Baker, 77, of Mansfield, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at MedCentral Hospital. Born April 30, 1932 in Olive Hill, KY, she was the daughter of Matt and Gertrude Messer Wilson. She worked at Mansfield Memorial Homes as a registered nurses aid and was a member of the Church of God on Trimble Rd. She enjoyed working with flowers, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Clarence Longworth and Sandy and Bobby Wingler, both of Mansfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Cassie Baker and Danny and Emily Baker, both of Perrysville, Mike and Gail Baker, Roger and Merry Baker, James and Michelle Baker, and Rick Baker, all of Mansfield; 22 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brother, James Wilson of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents; sister Mickey Foster; daughter Rita Lynn Baker-Jones; and grandson Danny Jones. She will be greatly missed by her family and many close friends.
Friends may call Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98. S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Michael G. Rogers. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
