

Orville Donathan, Jr., 74, of Mansfield, died Wednesday April 27, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a short illness. Born August 23, 1930 in Portsmouth, he was the son of Orville Sr. and Mary Mullen Donathan. He retired from Tappan Company, Mansfield, and belonged to the Tappan 25 Year Club. Mr. Donathan enjoyed playing golf with his grandson, Bryce.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons, Norman Jodie Donathan of Glendale, Arizona, and Rodney Lee Ann Donathan of Geneva, Indiana; two stepsons, Jon Michael McKee and Mark Anita McKee, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, Brianne, Austin, Ryan, and Anetra, all of Glendale, Arizona, Justin and Nikki, both of Vancouver, Washington, Bryce, Connor, and Madalyn, all of Mansfield, and Katy and Jakob of Geneva, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brycen, and Jordie, all of Arizona, and Paige and Abagail, both of Vancouver, Washington; sisters, Mary Starkey of Columbus, Georgia, Betty Bostwick of Port Charlotte, Florida, Wanda Davis of Portsmouth, Dorothy Donathan of Port Charlotte, Florida, Patsy Don Crisp of Portsmouth, Doris Gene Day of Deltona, Florida; brothers, Jack Donathan of Seven Hills, William Donathan, and Tom Donna Donathan, all of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews of Ohio, Arizona, and Florida; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Race; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Florence and Michael Race of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday April 29, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
