

Patricia J. Baker, 83, of Mansfield, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Brethren Care Village in Ashland. Born August 12, 1930 in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of Raymond and Mildred (Shuckhart) Sullivan.
A homemaker, she was the ultimate mom who loved raising her children the old fashioned way. She also loved attending her grandchildren's sporting and school events. She enjoyed working jig saw and crossword puzzles and would paint ceramics and the wood items her husband created.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen (Paul) Young of Mansfield, Maureen (Danny) Sexton of Mansfield and Colleen (Rick) Nagle of Akron; two sons, Thomas Baker of Texas and Kevin (Kim) Baker of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill (Jane) Sullivan of California, Phillip (Mickey) Sullivan of Newark, Jake (Barbara) Sullivan of Oregon and Charles Sullivan of Newark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Baker; and three brothers, Dick, Stanley and Ronnie Sullivan.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Rev. Glenn Phillips. Burial will follow in Caesarea Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
