Patricia Ballard

Patricia A. Martin Ballard, age 61, of Ontario, died Thursday December 30, 2004 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born February 4, 1943 in London, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Jess and Uvalda L. Myers Martin. She worked at Montgomery Ward for 14 years as a personal manager and was a member of the VFW Post 9943. Mrs. Ballard enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie.

Survivors include her husband, Richard 'Chad' Chadwick of Ontario; one son and daughter-in-law, Jennings 'Butch' and Sherry Ballard of Ontario; one daughter, Sherri Keith of Mansfield; four granddaughters, Ashley Ballard, Abbey Ballard, Desiree Keith, and Shannon Keith; one sister, Sandra Pauley of Ontario; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Vallie Martin; first husband, Jennings 'Buck' Ballard; and one brother-in-law, Charles D. Pauley.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday January 2, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
