Patricia Byrd

Patricia A. Kline Divelbiss Byrd died suddenly Tuesday morning, May 6, 2003, at University Hospital East in Columbus, Ohio. Patty was born July 8, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio to Harold and DaLea Hassinger Kline. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1951, and resided in Mansfield, Ohio most of her life. She was a retired employee of Richland County Children Services, and a member of the First Church of God.

Patty enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, reading, and sharing recipes. Most importantly, she loved her family. She was our 'angel' and will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mike Simon of North Royalton; son, Jeff Divelbiss of Ashland; son, Gary Divelbiss of Lexington; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Judy Kline of Lexington; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and John Berger of Crestline; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kathy Kline of Crestline; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step-daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Merle Carver of Bellville, Ohio; step-daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and Daren Johnson of Oceanside, California; sister-in-law, Dell Byrd Moore of Mansfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Pauline Byrd of Deltona, Florida; six step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren, and several step-nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday, May 9, 2003, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Crestline Public Library.
