
Patricia Ann Catlett Hock, 69, of 1149 Caldwell St. died at her residence Thursday, January 18, 2001 after a brief illness. Mrs. Hock was born August 11, 1931 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Floyd Jasper & Nan Stevens Catlett. She was a 1949 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Prior to her retirement in 1969, she was employed by the Mansfield School District Food Service and was previously employed by Mansfield Tire & Rubber Co. for 24 years.
Mrs. Hock is survived by her husband of 38 years, Floyd Russell 'Red' Hock; two daughters and a son-in-law, Robin Thompson Vance-Adkins and her husband, Dennis Adkins of Culleoka, Tennessee and Terri Hock of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Jeremy Vance and Chad Hock, both of Mansfield and Kalisha 'Kali' Vance of Columbia, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Vance of Mansfield and Brianna Wood of Columbia, Tennessee; two stepsons and a daughter-in-law, Tim Hock of N. Ft. Myers, Florida and Russ Hock and his wife Donna of Mansfield; two step-grandchildren, Dustin and Madison Hock of Mansfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard 'Dick' & Charlene Catlett of Centerville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend and caregiver, Margaret 'Peggy' Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hock, in 1994 and her brother, Robert 'Bob' Catlett, in 1996.
Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until services at 2:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. The Rev. David Sipes, Rector Emeritus of Grace Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Springmill Cemetery. The family will receive guests immediately following the services at the United Auto Workers, Local 549, 2510 W. Fourth Street, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
