Paul Bond

Paul Gene Bond, 60, of Mansfield died unexpectedly Friday, August 15, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born June 30, 1943 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Edgar and Lula Griffith Bond. Paul retired from AK Steel after 31 years of service. He attended numerous turkey shoots where he won many trophies. He loved fishing and being outdoors. Paul did everything with his family and friends. Paul never met anyone who wasn't a friend.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen Ruth Bond; two sons, Paul and his wife, Sue Bond and Mark Bond and Barb, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Tony Moon of Shelby, Melissa Bond, Veronica Patton and Richard Bond, all of Mansfield; five brothers, Dalton and his wife, Bonnie Bond, Kenneth Bond, Edgar 'Ernie' Bond, Dewayne Bond, and David and his wife, Diana Bond, all of Kentucky; a sister, Charlotte and her husband, Paul Edison of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. His parents preceded him in death.

Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Earl Tackett, will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
