
Paul Ernsberger, Jr., 71, of Ontario, died Sunday morning, April 30, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a one year illness. He is now with his Lord and Savior. Born April 28, 1935 in Mansfield, he was the son of Paul Sr. and Viola Harris Ernsberger. A life-long resident of Perrysville Pinhook, he also resided in Englewood, Florida. He retired from Empire Detroit. Mr. Ernsberger was Past-President and financial secretary of Local 169 USWA. He graduated from North Central Ohio Technical College and served as a Richland County Sheriff's deputy auxiliary and as a MWCD Park Ranger for five years. Enjoying life to the fullest, he loved spending time with his family and friends and going to Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, L. Jean Bowser Ernsberger; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Richard Fenton of Mansfield; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Deborah Ernsberger of Perrysville, Mickey Ernsberger of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Michael and Nora Ernsberger of Ontario, and Scott and Susan Ernsberger of Perrysville; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Loren and Loreene Ernsberger of Loudonville, and Robert and Doris Ernsberger of Mansfield; and three sisters, Marjorie Bishop of Mansfield, Patricia Kane of Ashland, and Penny Barber of Michigan; and many dear friends and relatives in Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Rev. Al Salas of the Marantha Bible Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
