
Paul E. ''Goldie'' Goulding, Jr. , 71, of Mansfield died Monday evening, August 21, 2000 following an extended illness. Mr. Goulding was born January 2, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio living in the Mansfield area all of his adult life. He retired from General Motors after 34 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Mr. Goulding was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Anne M. & Gene Turley of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mary D. Arthur of Chattanooga, Margaret L. Goulding of Mansfield, Barbara J. & Glen Kandel of Fredericktown, Patricia E. Blake of Chattanooga, and Marilyn E. & Cris Torres of San Antonio, Texas; five sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher E. Goulding of California, Joseph G. & Donna Goulding of Johnsville, Michael W. Goulding of Boulder, Colorado, Stephen A. Goulding of Mansfield, and Paul D. & Rhonda Goulding of Clayton, North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, Caleb, Jennifer, and Titus Arthur, Daniel, Mathew, and Amanda Goulding, Brindi, Kristi, Tyler, and Christopher Kandel, Isabela, Diego, and Mariana Torres, Chuckie and Chaz Gearhart, and Shane Goulding; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul E., Sr. & Doris Ann Stillwell Goulding; one brother, Charles Goulding; and one sister, Sally Wetzel.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday from 6-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 25, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church conducted by the church. Military graveside services will be held at Lexington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
