

Paul R. Moore, Jr., 75, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born February 24, 1945 in Wellington, Ohio, he was the son of Paul R. Moore, Sr. and Stella Mae (Maxey) Moore.
Paul retired from Century Link following 30 years of service. A talker, he loved to tell stories and was a very friendly and genuine down to earth person. Paul loved to fish, attend county fairs, watch the Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Steelers and play cards, especially Spades. A history buff, Paul enjoyed learning anything on Native Americans and history when he was younger. He enjoyed collecting coins, guns and baseball cards. He entered the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure for several years. Paul loved spending time with of his family especially his grandchildren and enjoyed going to their BMX races.
He is survived by his sister, Terri Moore of Mansfield; his daughter, Patty (Michael) Christy of Mansfield; his companions daughter, Rachel Smallze of Mansfield; former son-in-law, John Kunkle; his grandchildren, Corey Kunkle, Kyra Barber and Paul Kunkle all of Johnsville, Ohio; several great grandchildren; two nieces, Amanda Stevens of Butler, Ohio and Kandi Moore of Mansfield; and a nephew, Domenico (Nick) Gatti of Mansfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Nancy Anne Smallze and his brother, Timothy Moore.
There will be no services at this time.
