
Paul Zajack, age 92, of Mansfield, died Monday morning, April 5, 2004, at his home. He was born June 25, 1911, in Mansfield to George and Mary Tushjak Zajack. He was a Mansfield resident all his life and retired from Westinghouse Corporation where he worked as a machinist. Paul was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy. Throughout his life, Paul was a collector of antiques and enjoyed going to auctions and collecting model cars. He loved fast cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald E. Zajack of Jacksonville, Florida and George Michael and Kathryn Zajack of Mansfield; a dear friend of 10 years, Anna Shambre of Mansfield; grandchildren, Alex Zajack, Lisa Zajack, Tamara Hermes and Wendy Lipshultz; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 41 years, Helen Arneson Zajack; brother, John Zajack; sister, Mary Zajack Taska; and grandson, Brian Zajack.
Following a private graveside service, family and friends will be received Saturday, April 10 from 1-3 p.m. at 506 Dyas Drive, Mansfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 Township Rd. 1095, Ashland, Ohio 44805. Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
