Paulene Knight

Paulene L. Knight, 77, of Mansfield, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Mifflin Care Center. She was born May 30, 1933 in Morehead, Kentucky. Paulene was an LPN working at various locations throughout her career. A very outgoing person, she liked involving herself in the lives of others and traveling to Hawaii. Paulene had a green thumb when it came to plants. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her companion, Paul Penny, Sr.; sons, Jeffrey Karen Knight of Columbus, Scott Catherine Knight of Dublin, and Randy Mullins of Phoenix, AZ; twin daughters, Sabrina "Sam" Mike Henley of Clarksville, TN and Kimberly Richard Portugal of Yuba City, CA; grandchildren, Jeff, Brittany, Austin, Amber, Marcus, Jamie, Morgan, Kelsey, Kendal, and Drew; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Augenstin of Marion; and brother, Dwight Perry, Jr. of Marion. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight and Monte Perry.

Friends may call Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Mark Dettmer.
