Pauline Margaret Parks Black, age 80, of Fredericktown, died early Tuesday morning June 13, 2000 at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Black was born September 23 1919 in Jefferson County, Ohio living in the Mansfield-Fredericktown area for 45 years. Mrs. Black was a member of Taylor Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Stanley R. Black of Charlotte, North Carolina; a daughter, Nancy Norris of Fredericktown, Ohio; a sister, Ruth Mills; a brother, Ross Parks of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross & Elizabeth Margaret Miller Parks; her husband, Francis W. Black; a son, Jimmy Black; a daughter, Clara Wiseman; two sisters; a granddaughter and a grandson.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the funeral service which, will be held Thursday June 15, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Albert Page. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
