Peggy Fagan Renner Bowman

Peggy graduated in 1960 from Crestline High School and went on to work at Montgomery Ward and JC Penney retiring in 2000. She then worked for Ocean Springs, Mississippi school system retiring in 2014. Peggy spent many years as a Girl Scout Leader, loved gardening and watching her grandchildren play sports. She also coached summer softball in Ontario for many years and enjoyed volunteering and helping others any way she could.

She is survived by three daughters, Stacey Renner of Ontario, Cindy Renner of Columbus and Jodie Renner of Texas; four grandchildren, Brittany Renner of Los Angeles, California, Steven Renner of Mobile, Alabama, Kyle Renner of Ontario and Lexie Johnson of Columbus, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bowman; an infant daughter, Stephanie; her parents; and her grandparents, Calvin and Ruth Krichbaum and John and Blanche Fagan.

Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Peg Welch. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
