Peggy Lambert

Peggy I. Lambert, age 63, of Mansfield, died Wednesday February 18, 2004 at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Lambert was born December 12, 1940 in West Virginia living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She was a former employee of Crystal Care Center. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. She went home to be with the Lord.

Surviving are her husband, William M. Lambert of Mansfield; a son, William Lambert Jr. of Mansfield; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Loretta & Kenneth Ball, Vicki Tucker; Sandra & Kirk Smith & Karen & Roger Owens all of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, Marvin Lee & Erica Lambert, Dustin Lambert, Peggy Sue Danielle Ball, Koty Shank & Kristin Owens; Brock Lambert, Kyle & Ryan Stamper and James Lambert; one great-grandchild, Phoenix Jade; a sister, Goldie Snipes of Mansfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald & Ann Salyers of Mansfield; and a number of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Marvin Lambert; a step-son, James Lambert; two brothers, Malcom & Melvin Salyers & a sister, Jewell Cubertson.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Rick Pelfrey. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
