Philip Mayer

Philip was a 1964 graduate of Lexington High School and attended the University of Florida.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.

He owned and operated two businesses ~ Mayer Mortgage and The Elms and served as the Finance Director for several car dealerships in the Mansfield area.

Philip enjoyed spending time with his friends on the lake and at Pleasant Hill, visiting local bars, and spending time with his cat and dog.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Ray Baker; his sisters, Toni Rhodes and Debbie Ramsey; his nephew, Kevin Rhodes; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 1:00 -5:00 p.m. at the Wappner Cremation Center, 1327 Ashland Road, Mansfield.
