Rachel Allen

She was the eldest child of Suzanne Allen and Curtis Allen; born March 5, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated with honors from Madison Comprehensive High School and Bowling Green State University. She worked for the Domestic Violence Shelter in Mansfield until her move to Columbus where she was employed by Columbus State Community College.

Rachel is survived by her parents, both of Mansfield, OH; her sister Rebecca of Kyoto, Japan; her two brothers, Mark of Bowling Green, OH, and Luke of Mansfield; her grandmothers, Marjorie Simon of St. Louis MO, and Willena Allen of Silver Springs, MD; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William J. Simon and Richard L. Allen.

Rachel was a passionate, outspoken individual who always colored outside of the lines. She was loved by many, tolerated by some, ignored by few. We will gather for an informal celebration of Rachel's life on Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at 7:00 p.m., at Grace Fellowship Church, 365 Straub Road East, Mansfield, OH. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice.
