
Raymond E. Faulk, 73, of Mansfield, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at MedCentral Hospital. Born July 10, 1936 in Ashland, he was the son of Ralph E. and Pauline Long Faulk. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1955 and went on to work for UPS for 30 years as a driver. Raymond was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Amvets Post 26, Sons of Herman Lodge 14. He enjoyed sports, especially the Browns, Cavs, Indians, and NASCAR, and playing softball and bowling. Raymond also loved to gamble in Las Vegas and down on the Riverboats.
Surviving are his son, Ronald 'Rick' Faulk of Lexington; daughter, Laura Steve Scodova of Mansfield; grandsons, Ryan and Alexander Faulk; and brother, David Faulk of California. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Father Tony Borgia of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amvets or St. Peter's Athletic Boosters.
