
Raymond Jordan, 83, of Bellville, died early Friday morning, August 18, 2006, at Country Meadows Care Center. Born June 4, 1923, in Ashland, he was the son of Ralph and Mildred Dougherty Jordan. He attended Diamond Hills Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. Mr. Jordan retired from Mansfield Screw Machine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII serving in the Philippines as well as serving three months in Japan as a Military Policeman.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Riddle Jordan; three sons, Barry Jordan of Mansfield, Lanny Patricia Jordan of Clearwater, FL, and Randy Susan Jordan of Lexington; a daughter, Amy Jordan of West Hollywood, CA; seven grandchildren, Jody Jordan and Kevin Jordan, both of Mansfield, Bryan Jordan of Mt. Sterling, KY, Chris Jordan and Lanny Jordan, Jr., both of Clearwater, FL, Ricky Rebecca Jordan of Lexington, and Amanda Jordan of Bowling Green, KY; two great-grandchildren, Hayley Jordan of Mansfield and Alexandria Jordan of Lexington; and a sister, Dorothy Griffon of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
