Raymond Lee Milum, 84, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 28, 2025. Born in Bucyrus, Ohio on October 9, 1940, Ray was the son of the late Robert Howard, Sr. and Arlene M. (Morehead) Milum.
He was active in Boy Scouts in 1971-1979, even taking a troop to Philmont Scout Ranch. He worked for Ideal Electric for 45 years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed being outdoors and having coffee at McDonald's with his friends. Ray married Patricia June Amsbaugh March 19, 1960 and they shared 62 years together.
Ray is survived by his son, Raymond (Jennifer) Milum, Jr.; daughter, Kalyn (James) Stichler; grandchildren, Kristen (James) Griffin, Jonathon Milum, Sean Stichler, and Breanne (Ryan) Rohloff; great-grandson, Charles Rohloff; brother-in-law, William Warner and sister-in-law, Sandra Milum and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia June (Amsbaugh) Milum; siblings, Robert H. Milum, Jr., Beverly Asher and Carol Milum; and sister-in-law, Sondra Warner.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ray’s life on Friday, May 9, 2025. There will be one hour of calling beginning at 10:00 a.m at Wappner Funeral Directors – Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Matthew Pond officiating. Ray will be laid to rest at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, Ohio.
