
Rev. Beverly Kay Robart Fisher, 66, of Galion, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Beverly loved the Lord and her husband, Daniel Knight Fisher, and now joins both in Heaven. Born January 21, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the daughter of Rolland Leon and Frances June Graham Robart. Since coming to her salvation, she spent her time ministering to others and caring for her family. A former employee of Woodlawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation, she returned to minister to the patients on a regular basis, started ministries at several nursing homes and implemented a 'Call to Worship' ministry to spread God's word. Beverly also helped with Gospel on the Square and arranged Bible studies for shut-ins. After her husband's stroke in 2000, she dedicated her life to caring for him, but still lead Bible studies and devotions for young Christians from her home.
She is survived by five children, Cheri White, Claude Hope Byrd, David Robin Dashkovitz, all of Mansfield, Michael Debbie Burke of VA and Cindy Perkins of MI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Debbie Bill Dusek of Midland, MI. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Burke, parents, and sister, Carol.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Promise Land Fellowship, 506 Park Ave. East with Pastor Rick Wiseman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
