Born to Waverly Conner and Addie R. Nelson Conner, Rex lived a life rooted in deep faith and devotion to the Lord. He never missed an opportunity to share God’s love with others, and he departed this life with his Bible in his arms—a fitting testament to the faith that guided him every day. Rex took pride in his appearance and especially enjoyed dressing well and presenting himself with care.
Outside of his spiritual life, Rex was an avid fan of NFL football. He especially admired the legendary Dick Butkus. Watching NFL games was one of his favorite pastimes, and he loved sharing this interest with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his older brother, Charles Conner, and five beloved aunts and uncles.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Marilyn Conner; his brother, Ralph Conner; his nieces, Brittany Conner and Ebony Conner Smith, along with their children; and the many friends whose lives he touched and who will miss him dearly.
Wappner Funeral Directors, Mansfield, is honored to serve the Conner family.
