Rhonda Jean Knackstedt

Rhonda was born on September 30, 1951 in Dover, Ohio. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Dolores (Hill) Gatten. She worked at Skyline Chili in Ontario for the past 15 years before she retired 3 years ago. She previously worked as a waitress at Mansfield Restaurant, Rogate Industries, numerous bingo halls, and Mansfield Cyclopes softball field. She volunteered at Matthew 25 Outreach handing out food boxes to shut-ins. Baking at the holidays for her family was one of her favorite things to do. Rhonda also enjoyed sewing, crafting, and making flower arrangements.

Rhonda is survived by her husband of 47 years, James B. Knackstedt; her daughter, Tiffany (Paul) Dilley; her son, John D. Knackstedt; her step-son, Jeff Knackstedt; her grandchildren, Steven (Danielle) Dilley, Lexi (Nathan) Wolford, Logan Dilley, Luke Dilley, Karli Knackstedt, Tracy Gorman, Jeff Knackstedt, and Dalin Knackstedt; her great-grandchildren, Aria, Hayden, Olivia and Leah; her brother, Raymond (Rhonda) Gatten; her sister-in-law, Linda Knackstedt; and her brother-in-law, Richard (Linda) Knackstedt. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, John T. Gatten.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond St. Memorial contributions may be made to S.T.O.P., 1152 Lexington Ave. Mansfield, OH 44907.
