Richard Hancock

Richard L. Hancock, 46, of 854 Grace St. died December 3, 1999 at home following an extended illness.  Mr. Hancock was born March 23, 1953 in Lima, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area for the past 22 years.  He was employed at Mansfield City Garage for the past 14 years and attended Lincoln Heights Church of Christian Union.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Alice Hancock of Mansfield; one son, Ricky L. Hancock of Mansfield; his mother and his step-father, Walter & Rhoda Blair Hancock Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky; two brothers, Lawrence E. Hancock Jr. of Mansfield; and Raymond Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky; four sisters, Patty Ball, Carol Barker, Brenda Smith and Jennifer Wright all of West Liberty, Kentucky; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Edward Hancock.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday December 6, 1999 from 6-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 7, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Bruce Morrison and Rev. Phil Green.  Burial will be in Windsor Park Cemetery.
