Richard A. Jensen, 92, of Mansfield, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at his home. Born October 10, 1913 in Germany, he was the son of Adolf and Luise Zilasko Jensen. He worked as a self-employed painting contractor. Mr. Jensen was a member of the First Assembly of God.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Erna E. Buehning Jensen; five grandchildren, Rick Jensen of Mansfield, Dan Tabby Jensen of Florida, Matt Jensen of Lexington, Heather Josh Guegold of Perrysville, and Scott Jensen of Mansfield; and five great grandchildren, Ian, Noah, and Elijah Jensen, and Morgan and Kendall Guegold. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Lothar and Ralph R. Jensen; and five brothers.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dan Jensen. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
