He had worked for Robin Industries in Fredrickburg and enjoyed playing the guitar, camping and target shooting. He loved cars, motorcycles and telling a good joke to anyone who would listen.
He is survived by a son, Jake Searls; his mother, Becky (Michael) Haught; three brothers, Mark Searls, Brian Searls and Matthew Searls; a sister, Lisa Lang; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
