

Richard J. Weber, 79, of Mansfield, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. Born July 22, 1932 in Van Wert, Ohio, he was the son of John and Marian (Miller) Weber. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Naval Reserves, Richard was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He was the owner and operator of Weber’s Produce where he retired from in 1994 and was previous treasurer of the Mid-Ohio Restaurant Association. Richard enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending his winters in Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma (McClelland) Weber; children, Dennis (Emily) Weber; Sinda (Dan) Miller; and Craig (Cindy) Weber; grandchildren, Claudia Townsend, Monica Weber, Chris, Ashley, and Brandon Miller, and Grayson, Gage, and Jace Weber; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews especially Terry, Sherry, and Vickie Jo who visited often and helped with his care; and his very caring friends who gave their love and support. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Hospice of North Central Ohio. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Richard Weber.
