

Robert "Butch" Browning, 65, of Mansfield, died early Monday morning, May 19, 2014 in Zusman Hospice, Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 6, 1948 in Bucyrus to Maxine and Jack Browning, Sr.
A serious man, Butch certainly knew how to have a good time. Even though he was surrounded by women at home, he loved going to NASCAR races with his buddies and gambling on the slots at the casinos. Butch drove a box truck for Commercial Cutting for 18 years.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Eva Browning, whom he married on February 25, 1984; two daughters, Tonia Warner and Lisa Finfgeld, both of Mansfield; four granddaughters, Megan and Beth Warner and Amanda and Alison Herman; nephew, Ricky Jordan and his children; niece, Cathy Miller, her son, Brandon, and his children; niece and nephews, Paula, J.B. and Boyd and their families; and former sister-in-law, Diane Browning. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Browning, Jr.; sister, Jean Jordan; and nephew, Danny (Brenda) Jordan.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Rev. Jesse R. Howell will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
