Robert F. Joyce, 92, of Mansfield, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Altercare of Hartville Center after a brief illness. Born August 14, 1914 in Alliance, he was the son of Michael Joyce. Mr. Joyce retired from Tappan.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert A. Joyce of Hartville, and Dr. Michael J. and Debra Joyce of Pepperpike; grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Jordye Joyce of Hartville, Brant Joyce of Hawaii, David Joyce of Pepperpike, Stephan and Rebecca Joyce of Burlington, Vermont, and Timothy Joyce of Pepperpike; and great-grandson, Carson Joyce of Hartville. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie M. Mercer Joyce; two sisters; and special friend, Myrtle Bowman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
