Robert Kepple

Born July 7, 1927 in Little Washington, Ohio he was the son of E. Earl and Elizabeth Kepple. A veteran of the United States Army, he worked for Duff Truck Lines for over 20 years. He loved to work outdoors, especially on his lawn, and enjoyed fishing. Robert was a very quiet and private man, his family being the most important part of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Edna (Johnston) Kepple, which they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 27th; two daughters, Valerie Chronister and Teresa (Tim) Ringley; a son, Charles Kepple; grandchildren, Nicole Baird, Tom (Erika) Chronister, Ashley Chronister, Brett Chronister, Andrew (Nikki) Kepple, Benjamin Kepple, Bryce Kepple, Brian (Liv) Ringley and Justin Ringley; six great grandsons; and a sister, Dixie Walter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Rev. Richard Beal. Friends may call two hours prior to the services, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
