Roberta Wright

Roberta M. Jarrell Wright, 64 of Mansfield, died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at her home. Born February 16, 1941 in Wayne County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Nennie Jarrell and Otis Thompson. Roberta made Mansfield her home in 1966. She loved to sew and crochet. Roberta worked at Rosemont Nursing Home for 10 years. She loved taking care of people and spent most of her life caring for others.

She is survived by three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Obbie and Carlon Jarrell, William and Judy Jarrell, and John Allen and Brenda Jarrell, all of Mansfield; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anna Jean and Charles Wright, and Rebecca and Ervin Adkins, all of Kentucky; 44 nieces and nephews; 60 plus great nieces and nephews; two aunts, Georgia Jarrell and Mildred Salsby; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers, Otis Jarrell, and Orville Jarrell.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 24, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may also call at Young Funeral Home in Louisa, Kentucky from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jarrell Cemetery near Ft. Gay, West Virginia.
