Rodney Collins

Rodney D. Collins, 41 of Bristol, West Virginia died November 21, 2000 at Crestwood Care of Shelby following an extended illness. Mr. Collins was born March 7, 1959 in Clarksburg, West Virginia residing in the Shelby area for the past nine months. He was previously employed with Salem Glass Factory. Rodney loved the outdoors and really enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his father, Ronald Lee Collins of Salem, West Virginia; his mother, Patricia Ann Gaines Michaels of Elyria, Ohio; two brothers, Gregory Lee Collins of Elyria, Ohio; and Michael Wayman Collins of Salem, West Virginia; one sister, Beth Ann Morris of Norwalk, Ohio; and several nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Everett and Elva Collins of Clarksburg, West Virginia; and maternal grandparents, Wayman and LaVera Gaines of Sardis, West Virginia; and two uncles, Bernard Collins of Pennsylvania and Arnold Collins of West Virginia.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. The family will have private graveside services out of state at a later date.
