Ronald "Ron" E. Boyd, 70, of Ontario died March 6, 2014. Born April 27, 1943 in Sistersville, WV, he was the son of Leslie and Virginia (Mann) Boyd. Ron retired from Shelby Dunlap Tire after 20 years of service. He was a laid back, hardworking, good guy who loved hunting and fishing at the Clearfork Reservoir.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Judy Boyd of Ontario; daughter, Ronda Sue Estes of Ontario and Brenda Kay (Joel) Darling of Lexington; grandchildren, Zackary, Lauren, Kaci, and Kali; brother in-law, Tommy Hendershot of East Mansfield; and a host of very good friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and Cecil Boyd.
Burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Ron Boyd.
