
Ronald Lee Edmonds, 47, of Mansfield died Sunday evening, January 4, 2004, at Mansfield Memorial Homes after an extended illness. He was born March 16, 1956, in Pensacola, Florida to Willie Sr. and Alma Robinson Edmonds. He was formerly employed with area construction companies and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his father, Willie Edmonds, Sr.; three daughters and a son; numerous grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Willie Jr. and Cynthia Edmonds of Mansfield; five sisters and their spouses, Barbara and Sam Simpson, Doris and Terry Maddox, Betty Quates, all of Mansfield, Deborah and Jim Conley of Kentucky, and Denise Jackson of Cleveland; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Edmonds; grandparents, Edmond and Letha Robinson and Will and Mercy D. Edmonds; and a son, Eddie 'Sparky' Billard.
Funeral services will be held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
