
Rose Marie Haney, 77, of Mansfield passed away Sunday evening at Med Central Mansfield. Rose was born July 27, 1928 in Paulding, Ohio to Floyd J. & Emma Gary Sutton and has lived in Mansfield since moving here from Shreve in 1991. She was a retired secretary for the United Methodist Church of Wooster and was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, where she was a member of the Christian Woman's Fellowship of Ohio. She was also a member of the Johnny Appleseed Woodcarvers and numerous church and community groups.
Rose is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rev. Paul Russell Haney of Mansfield; Daughter and son-in-law, Connie & Gary Oswalt of Mansfield; Daughter & Son-in-law, Kathy & Larry Nickell of Waycross, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Cathy Haney of Clinton, Ohio; son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Suzette Haney of Warren, Ohio and Daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Mark Gilson of Sevierville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and spouses, Nedra & Robbie Tillman of Nicholls, Ga; Kelly & James Green of Blackshear, Ga.; Mindy & Steve Leach of Mansfield; Scott & Stephanie Nickell of Blackshear, Ga.; Holly Oswalt of Mansfield; Kevin Nickell of Waycross, Ga.; Joshua Haney of Macedonia, Oh; Andrew Haney of Akron, Oh; Nicole Haney of Warren, Oh; Chad Haney of Warren, Oh; Kyle, Whitney and Bryant Gilson all of Sevierville, Tenn.; five great grandchildren; sister, June Taylor of Paulding, Oh; sister-in-law, Barnetta Sutton of Paulding, Oh; Sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Leah & Richard Gunderman of Paulding, Oh; Brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Herb & Lois Haney of Cherokeevillage, Arkansas; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Owen & Kathy Haney of Springfield, Oh. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; one sister; one grandson and one great granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 6-9 P.M. Funeral services will be at the First Christian Church, Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. conducted by Rev. Sharon Kiesel & Rev. Raymond C. White. Friends may call at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Paulding, Oh prior to the 3:00 P.M. graveside service in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding, Oh. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church.
