Roy C. Warner, 71, of Shiloh, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his home. Born March 27, 1936 in Mansfield, he was the son of James F. and Eldred Mae Dailey Warner. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Ideal Electric. Mr. Warner loved to do woodworking, and build and fly radio controlled airplanes.
He is survived by four daughters, Helen Sands of Shiloh, Cherie Tompkins of Cincinnati, Cindy Mitchell, and Cheryl Warner, both of Shelby; one son, Charles Warner of Mansfield; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Owens; and his beloved dog, Mandy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary J. Warner on February 12, 2005; his parents; and one sister, Rebecca Webb.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Military graveside services will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by the U.S. Navy. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
