

Ruby Parish Eden, 85, of Mansfield, died early Monday morning, February 7, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born June 12, 1919, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Walter and Edith Pelfrey Parish. She retired from Mansfield Pottery and attended Little Washington Church. She was a member of the Moose, V.F.W., Amvets and American Legion Auxiliary. Ruby loved spending time with family and friends and cooking for them. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Ruby always had time to give and share herself with others.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Sue Eden and Bronis and Judi Eden, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Gina Gerich and Tiffany Eden, of Mansfield, Marlo Briggs of Michigan, Matthew Eden of Columbus; three great-grandchildren, Jakob, Kala, and Alexzandra; a brother, Darrel Parish of Mansfield; sister, Ruth Dewitt of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, DeLoyce Eden, parents, son, Glenn Eden, brothers, Billy and Chester Parish and two sisters, Cloie Eden and Thelma Porter.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, February 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Union Cemetery in Perrysville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
