

Russell Wynn, 56, of Mansfield, passed away early Sunday morning, August 11, 2013 at his home. He was born August 31, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio to Gracie D. (Shepherd) and James Russell Wynn. He was a graduate of Madison High School, Class of 1974. Russell was a born-again Christian and his relationship with Christ was very important to him.
He enjoyed building model cars, working outside mowing the lawn and doodle art. Russell made many public speaking appearances to middle school students about the dangers of drugs and smoking. He was a sponsor to many AA members throughout the years.
He is survived by his mother, Gracie D. Wynn of Mansfield; son, Josh Wynn of PA; daughters, Patience Wynn of Perrysville and Angel Wynn of TX; brothers, James (Brenda) Wynn of Ontario and Edward Wynn of Mansfield; sister, Dorothy (Wesley) Glasgow of Sterling Heights; four grandchildren, Courtney Hall, Cody Cochran, Cali Cochran, Kaden King; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, James Wynn and brother, Arthur Wynn.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the River of Life Church in Butler.
