Ruth Ann Duncan, 59, of Hillcrest Nursing Center died Tuesday morning February 22, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Center following a brief illness. Ms. Duncan was born September 2, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio and has resided in the area most her life. Ruth was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her three children, Donna Swineford, John DeVore, and April Duncan; two brothers, John Springer and William Springer; one sister, Mary Fitzpatric; five grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday February 25, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. with a funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Jeff Rowe.
