She was born March 25, 1925 in Morehead, KY and lived in Mansfield from 1950 until 2003 when her husband of 53 years, William Guy, passed away. Ruth was a hairdresser, homemaker, seamstress, and she was a member of Community Bible Baptist Church of Mansfield.
Ruth was preceded in death by one daughter, Vivian Nutter. She is survived by one son, Michael Berryman of Knoxville, TN and one daughter, Bernice Allen of Clearwater, FL; five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one sister, Fay Evans of Morehead, KY.
Friends and relatives may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday March 23, 2009 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Joe Esarey of Community Bible Baptist Church of Mansfield at 1pm on Tuesday March 24. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
