Sandra Lou Douglas

Sandra Lou Douglas, 63, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Sandra was born on March 15, 1955 in Crestline, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert and Mary (McKinney) Penrod.

She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Happy go lucky very much describes Sandra, who was kind and helpful and always willing to help anyone in need. She worked at Crestline Paints for forty plus years. She enjoyed word search puzzles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Leslie (Brent) Bowman of Mansfield; step-daughter, Tara (Jim) Woodlee of Texas; grandchildren, Rachel (Billy) Burkhart, Cearra Bowman, Casey (Christina) Holloway, Corey (Gillian) Holloway, Brent Bowman Jr., Timmy Douglas and Cassandra Douglas; great-grandchildren, Bryson Holloway, Laney Burkhart, and Rylan Baker; sisters, Pam (Frank) Smith of Galion, Sherrie Grove of Florida, and Debbie Smith of Galion; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband, John Douglas; parents; son, John "JJ" Douglas; grandson, Curtis Douglas; granddaughter, Ashleigh Lindsay; great-granddaughter, Patience Lindsay; and four brothers, Leland, George, Wesley and Dale Penrod.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S Lexington Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Eddie Douglas will be held at Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
