

Sandra Kay Stoughton Little, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, September 11, 2011. Surrounded by her family, she passed away at her home following a 3 year battle with cancer. She was born January 5, 1947 in Mansfield to the late Richard and Eleanor (Brandt) Stoughton. SanDee married Roy G. Little on December 27, 1980 and they shared 30 years together making wonderful, lasting memories with their children and grandchildren.
A wonderful cook who often created her own recipes or altered recipes to suit her family’s taste, she received her greatest pleasure from serving her family. SanDee made holidays special with her elaborate meals, gifts and special treats for each person. She loved spending time in her craft room creating many beautiful items using her talents of crocheting blankets, making jewelry and creating her own specialized greeting cards. SanDee enjoyed camping with her good friends from Richland Rascals and the Coachmen Club. One of SanDee’s favorite Bible verses she often repeated with her sister was Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight”. SanDee lived her life by these words and leaves a loving legacy for all whom knew her. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church and the Fun Center Corvette Club.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Little; children, Laura (Jay) Frost of Lexington, Tom (Nancy) Little of Copley, Jamie (Sue) Little of Oregon, Diane (Michael) Norris of Columbus, Kathy (Dale) Findley of Michigan and Leslie (Lance) Rodgers of Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, Andrew, Heath, Erika, Natalie, David, Kristen, Ciara, Nyle, Stephen, Daniel, Owen, Morgan, Adyson and Mason; a brother, Tom (Linda) Stoughton; sister, Pat (Gary) Wooldridge; special nephew, Larry (Kim) Caudill; and special niece, Brooke (Chris) Hull. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Little.
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. David Pound officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
