Sandra ''Sandy'' Ferguson

Sandra 'Sandy' Ferguson, 64, formerly of Birchlawn Blvd., more recently of Rockledge, Florida, died Wednesday evening at the home of her son after a yearlong illness. Mrs. Ferguson was born August 13, 1937 in Mansfield to Charles D. and Lucille Myers. She was a homemaker for most of her life but also worked as a secretary for Therm-o-Disc and Bill Olinger, architect. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1955 and was a member of Ruth Chapter #17 Order of the Eastern Star. Sandy was also a charter member of Southside Christian Church.

In addition to her husband of 42 years, Glenn Ferguson of Rockledge, FL, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary & Beth Ferguson and Greg & Melissa Ferguson, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Korri, Keefer, Parker and Seth Ferguson; nephew, Mike Myers & family of Ridgecrest, CA; and brother, Rodger Myers of Mansfield. Her parents, Charles D. & Lucille Myers and an infant daughter, Linda, preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Friday, October 5 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Don Christensen. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to MedCentral Hospice.
